L\u2019alliage \u00e9tudi\u00e9 contenait un interm\u00e9tallique ternaire tr\u00e8s peu document\u00e9 dans la litt\u00e9rature, en plus de l\u2019eutectique Al\u2084Sr pr\u00e9sent dans tous les alliages AJ62. La composition chimique de la phase ternaire a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9termin\u00e9 par EDS au MET comme \u00e9tant tr\u00e8s pr\u00e8s de Mg\u2089Al\u2083Sr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Des traitements thermiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9alis\u00e9s afin d\u2019\u00e9tudier la stabilit\u00e9 de cet interm\u00e9tallique ternaire. Les analyses chimiques effectu\u00e9es apr\u00e8s traitement thermique ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une augmentation du ratio Al\/Sr vers une valeur similaire \u00e0 celui de la phase Al\u2084Sr, accompagn\u00e9e d\u2019une diminution de sa teneur en Mg. Apr\u00e8s cette modification, l\u2019interm\u00e9tallique ternaire se d\u00e9compose au cours du traitement thermique en \u03b1-Mg et Al\u2084Sr.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div data-spectra-id=\"spectra-mthkz5ej-1575xj\"\tstyle=\"overflow: visible\" class=\"spectra-is-root-container alignfull spectra-overlay-color spectra-overflow wp-block-spectra-container\" data-orientation=\"vertical\"\t>\n\t\n<div data-spectra-id=\"spectra-mthkz6z2-736w9m\" style=\"overflow: visible\" class=\"spectra-overlay-color spectra-overflow wp-block-spectra-container\" data-orientation=\"vertical\">\n\t\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La structure cristalline de l\u2019interm\u00e9tallique ternaire, qui \u00e9tait alors mal connue, a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9tudi\u00e9e par diffraction \u00e9lectronique en microscopie \u00e9lectronique en transmission (MET). Ses activit\u00e9s se concentrent aujourd&rsquo;hui principalement sur la <a href=\"https:\/\/rqmem.recherche.usherbrooke.ca\/en\/equipement\/meb-quattro\/\">microscopie \u00e9lectronique \u00e0 balayage (MEB)<\/a> et les techniques de faisceau ionique focalis\u00e9 (FIB), notamment la reconstruction 3D par plasma FIB. En plus d&rsquo;aider de nombreuses entreprises \u00e0 relever leurs d\u00e9fis li\u00e9s aux mat\u00e9riaux, il participe \u00e9galement \u00e0 l&rsquo;enseignement de la caract\u00e9risation microscopique \u00e0 Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al et contribue \u00e0 la formation des \u00e9tudiantes et \u00e9tudiants aux techniques de microscopie \u00e9lectronique.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<div data-spectra-id=\"spectra-msertn0p-84bwjk\"\tstyle=\"overflow: visible\" class=\"spectra-is-root-container alignfull spectra-overlay-color spectra-overflow wp-block-spectra-container\" data-orientation=\"vertical\"\t>\n\t\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">R\u00e9f\u00e9rence<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">G.
