Become a node or scientific member of the Network
As a scientific member of the Quebec Network of Electron Microscopy for Materials, you could get a priviledged access to the platforms' electron microscopes.
A researcher and their research team including students, postdoctoral fellows, invited researchers, etc. affiliated with the partner institutions, and whose needs in microscopy justifies it, can become scientific members of the Quebec Network of Electron Microscopy for Materials.
Nodes or partner institutions are institutions of higher education who originally submitted for funding to form the Quebec Network of Elextron Microscopy for Materials (University of Sherbrooke, McGill University, Polytechnique Montréal, University of Montréal, Concordia University, Laval University and École de technologie supérieure). Other partner institutions can be added as RQMEM nodes with the approval of the RQMEM board of directors.

How to become a node or scientific member?
Fill the form by sending a motivation letter that includes your institution's collaboration to the network and the name of your institution representative who will hold a seat on the administrative committee.
For organizations that cannot become a RQMEM node, il is possible to become a supporting organization. This status is meant for municipalities, provincial and federal government agencies, as well as private companes or scientific groups with activities in Québec, Canada or around the world.
The Quebec Network of Electron Microscopy for Materials is pleased to collaborate with vendors in the field of microscopy or materials characterization to organize activities, sponsor events, plan trainings, demos and webinars. These collaborations respect our collaboration policy to make sure that the ressources are equitably shared with favoritism.
