On October 19, 2026 will be held the microscopy symposium in materials and metallurgy, organized by the Quebec Network of Electron Microscopy for Materials. This event will take place in the Videotron Salon, local E-2033, at École de Technologie Supérieure. This will be the occasion to learn more about the research happening in the different nodes of RQMEM.
This event is free for research scientists of the electron microscopy of materials field.
Preliminary schedule for the day
Avant-midi : Sessions en parallèles d’ateliers sur la diffraction de Rayons-X (Anton Paar), l’automation en microscopie électronique à balayage (Hitachi), la caractérisation de forme et taille de particules en utilisant l’analyse d’image dynamique (Anton Paar), la microstructure 3D (Soquelec), la caractérisation mécanique de surface (Anton Paar) et un atelier pour tester vos propres échantillons sur les microsopes de Keyence.
1PM : Opening words
13h05-17h : Présentations orales, présentations flash et présentation par affiche, incluant une pause café. Démonstrations des équipements de Anton Paar disponibles à l’ÉTS (sur inscription, cliquez ici pour vous inscrire)
17h-19h : Cocktail réseautage et session d’affiches
